Product overview
A 12 inch tactile plastic scale that can be used to measure length and draw lines.
A plastic scale with tactile markings that can be used to measure length and draw lines. While using, feel the surface, borders and edges. Hold the area with the tactile markings facing you. One side will have the inch scale and the other side will have the centimeter scale. Both the inch and centimeter scale start with two tactile dots but the tactile dots of the inch scale begins before the tactile dots of the centimeter scale. Based on your requirement hold accordingly.
On each respective scale, use the tactile dots as a reference for measuring. On the inch scale, each dot after the first dots at the edge of the scale serves as a single-inch increment. The line between the dots signify half an inch increment. Also for easy reference, there are two dots for each increment of two inches from the center such as 2 inches, 4 inches and 6 inches etc. While measuring align the tool correctly and count these tactile dots and lines from left to right.
To use the centimeter scale, flip the bottom of the right edge to the top left. In the centimeter scale, each tactile dot signify a 5 cm increment from the previous unit. The unit increments such as 2 cm and 3 cm etc are signified by the longer lines and the 0.5 increments such as 0.5 cm and 1.5 cm etc. are denoted by the small line. Also, do note that the tactile dots are below these vertical lines. Like the case mentioned before, align the scale correctly and use the tactile dots as a reference while measuring.
