Bold Lines – Accessible Stationery & Learning Aids for Low Vision

Back to school is a time of new notebooks and fresh pens. For many students with low vision, it is also the time when they find that standard stationery was never made for them. Faint ruled lines, ink that bleeds through thin paper, and pens that leave pale marks all add up to a daily struggle. The Bold Lines kit puts together a small set of tools, each built around one question: what does a student with low vision actually need to write, draw and learn independently? None of the pieces is complicated. The point is that they were chosen and tested together, so a student doesn’t have to hunt for them one by one.
