The Braille Slate is a tactile writing tool used by visually impaired individuals for writing Braille, functioning similarly to pen and paper in the tactile writing system.
To use the slate, Braille paper is placed between the two plates of the frame with the hinge positioned on the left side. A stylus (sold separately) is used to press through the rectangular openings to emboss Braille characters onto the paper.
This pocket frame slate is made from durable plastic and features 9 lines with 21 cells per row, allowing convenient Braille writing on the go. Its compact and lightweight design makes it easy to carry in a pocket or bag for everyday use.
